C6廃止案の投票結果について。

昨年の総会決議によって、JTAからWTCにTasarのクラスルールC6を廃止にする案を提出しておりました。（https://www.tasar.org/tasar-office/wtc-documents-(2016-2022)/minimum-crew-weight-rule-removal-process.aspx）

2023年2月1日に各リージョンによる投票が行われ、以下の通りになりました。

Dear World Tasar Council,

 

All Districts have now voted on the attached proposal by the Japanese District to remove Tasar Rule C.6.

 

As per B.4 Amendments to Class Rules, the Districts have now voted.

 

The outcome of the vote was:

• 7 Yes (for the removal of C.6)
• 1 No (TASA)
• 1 Ineligible to vote (TAQLD)

 

I would note the closest vote was in TASA being the only ‘No’ vote and all other votes were with clear majority.

 

This vote means the minimum 2/3rds approval has been met and there has been almost unanimous agreement to remove rule C.6 Crew Weight from the Class Rules. Can you all please approve this vote by responding to this email, though should you not approve please advise reasons for this and we will need to call a meeting to discuss. For completeness as one of the members of the WTC I give my approval.

 

Once I have endorsement from all members of the World Tasar Council, I will send to the Tasar Advisory Council for their approval and then onto World Sailing for their approval.
