Last Meeting Follow-up
ACTION ITEMS
- Follow up approach to Julian RE Martyn Sly as member of WTC Advisory Council
- Pete now emailed Julian. Martyn Sly has accepted. Pete to update website.
- Pete to let ATC (and other regions)know what the Sail royalties division currently looks like. Action now complete
- NA to pass on to members about unpacking AUS container on arrival (off truck)
- JPN to submit minimum crew weight rule change proposal to Pete who will then start the process. The timelines to be created when receive the proposal.
- Chris and Pete to contact NB Sailsports
- Pete now done through email.
- Pete (with help from Chris) to produce a proposal for class voting distribution to share with WTC for consultation.
- Proposal to use the same as the Fireballs/Optimists/29ers (see notes below). Putting forward as a concept. Want it to be kept simple.
- Pete to contact NA to arrange a time for the WTC meeting to occur (although online) as part of Worlds process. This may not coincide with the actual event.
- To be done online. Proposing 2 weeks before the Worlds. The only issue is that there will not be a Worlds Measurers report. This can be added in afterwards. No rule changes will occur at short notices anyway so not really relevant.
- Chris to think about measurers meeting that is normally held following the measurement at a Worlds.
- Pete to set up next meeting.
New Business
● 2022 Worlds Update (NA)
● Voting process (Pete) - do we want to explore this as a concept and have a proposal to put to each region for consultation?
● Sail number 3000
